Revere Routed Drawer Fronts

I was very happy with my purchase from Cabinetdoormart. I ordered a custom drawer box, and it came in good time and was very well made. I didn’t need a drawer though. I ordered it as part of building a guitar combo amp cabinet. I wanted a good, sturdy wood box of the right size, but I don’t really have the workshop to build it. I took the drawer box (designed to match a Fender Princeton Reverb Amp chassis) and added a layer of MDF (might have used plywood, but I had the MDF) to the make the drawer bottom a little more rigid, cut out a hole for a speaker, did a careful angular cut to accomodate the chassis’s sloping control panel, and then put some strips of wood inside the open end to support the back panels (just plywood rectangles). With it assembled and covered with Fender tweed telex, it looks beautiful. Even my wife thought it was pretty! And it was a lot cheaper than buying a premade Fender cabinet. Thanks. I might do this again with another design!

The doors I bought were for my first DIY island for the basement. The website guide on getting correct measurements was perfect and the doors were exactly what I needed! The best part is that the wood was great high quality wood!
