If you are looking for a specific style either from your own kitchen or an inspirational post for your next cabinet doors, we also offer a free matching service. Simply upload a few photos of your desired style and our experts will match you with the right door for your project. If you are looking to browse, using the following categories can help make finding your style more manageable.

  1. Flat Panel Doors: For those interested in transitional and farmhouse styles, flat panel cabinet doors can be a great choice. These doors typically have a minimalist design approach to detail, which makes them great for creating clean lines throughout the kitchen. The best example of this style is the ever-popular Shaker cabinet door.
  2. Slab Doors: Slab-style cabinet doors can be a great choice for both modern and traditional kitchen designs. This may sound surprising to some. Most often, we see slab doors in trendy colors and materials to create stunning modern spaces. However, if you use a natural finish to highlight the beauty of the wood species, then your design will be much closer to a cozy, traditional style. We offer both solid wood and laminate options for slab cabinet doors, so you can take your design in whichever direction you like best.
  3. Raised Panel Doors: Raised panel cabinet doors are perfect for traditional and transitional styles. Many of these doors feature ornate detailing and gorgeous designs. With a dark finish and complementary hardware, raised panel cabinet doors can be great for sophisticated tradition. However, in recent years, raised panel cabinet doors have been experimenting with more minimalists designs. These more modern raised panel doors can be great for transitional kitchen designs. Our favorite raised panel door is our Eagle cabinet door.
  4. Glass Doors: Not recommended for every kitchen cabinet, adding a few glass cabinet doors can be an easy way to brighten your kitchen and open it up a bit. They are able to do this because glass front doors help to extend the lines of sight to the back of your cabinet boxes, which makes the room feel larger. However, your glass cabinet doors will need to be strategically placed to ensure maximum benefit. Nearly all of our cabinet doors can be modified for a glass panel or French lites. Note: CabinetDoorMart does not provide the glass panel.

Select a Material for Construction

Once you have a door style picked out, you have the ability to choose a material to be used for the door’s construction. Our American-made cabinet doors are available in a wide variety of solid woods, MDF, and laminate options. Here is a general breakdown of these materials:

  • Solid Wood: When it comes to kitchen cabinets, solid wood cabinetry has been and continues to be the gold standard. Choosing solid wood is an investment for your kitchen, as they typically have the longest lifespan when properly maintained. In addition, depending on your home and your local market, adding solid wood cabinets also has the potential to increase the value of your home.
  • Thermofoil: Thermofoil is a vinyl laminate that is heated and pressurized onto an MDF core. Thermofoil is a great choice for a few key reasons. The first is that they arrive fully finished. This means you don’t have to worry about any painting or staining. Next, it is available in a wide variety of colors and textures, which means thermofoil cabinet doors can work in almost any kitchen design. And finally, the MDF core protects the door from warping and twisting at larger sizes.
  • Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF): MDF has become one of the most sought-after building materials due to its wide availability and cost. MDF is a great choice for painting, as its smooth surface finishes very well. One drawback of MDF is that you cannot stain it due to its lack of grain. If you were set on solid wood, but are interested in a more cost-effective option, we offer an MDF panel with a paintable hardwood frame.

Make Your Cabinet Door Just Right

Once you have your style picked out, you can add customizations to it to make it perfect. Not only will your doors be made to your size specifications, but you can also choose a different edge design than the one your door is pictured in. In addition, we can also pre-bore your doors for hinges, so that you won’t have to worry about having templates and tools on site. However, not all of our cabinet doors can have their edge profiles changed.

Our thermofoil cabinet doors cannot have their edge designs changed, but we offer the option to add routed finger pulls to either the top or bottom of the door. This way you won’t have to buy knobs and pulls or worry about damaging the thermofoil during installation.
